The geographical location of Yiwu
Yiwu locates in the eastern part of Jinqu Basin, lying between 119'49"-120'17"E and 29'02" -29'33"N. It is also located in the central area of Zhejiang province. Yiwu leaves the provincial capital Hangzhou hundred miles, which borders on Dongyang in the east, on Yongkang and Wuyi in the south, on Jinhua and Lanxi in the west, and on Zhuji and Pujiang in the north. The urban area is surrounded by the mountains from north, east and south side, which is 58.15 kilometers long from north to south and 44.41 kilometers wide from east to west. This territory has low mountains, hills, hillocks, plains, diverse types¡¯ soil, abundant light and heat resources. Yiwu is a subtropical monsoon climate, mild and humid, with four distinct seasons. The average temperature is highest in July for 29.3¡æ, and lowest in January for 4.2¡æ. The annual average frost-free period is 243 days approximately and the annual average rainfall is between 1100-1600 millimeters.
